Q: Are my deposit accounts FDIC insured?
A: Yes! The First National Bank of Hutchinson is an FDIC insured banking institution. Each individual customer's account is insured by the FDIC up to $250,000 per account. For more information on FDIC insurance, watch the video or visit the FDIC website.

Q: How do I set up Direct Deposit of my payroll check?
A: After opening your checking account, you will receive FNB's routing and transit number and your account number. If your employer participates in a direct deposit program, simply provide this information to your company's human resources or payroll department, and your direct deposit will usually begin within thirty days.

Q: Can I get information about my account by phone?
A: Yes! Account information is available with our Customer Service Representatives during business hours at any of our banking locations or ask about our First Contact touch-tone banking for automated account information 24 hours a day.

Q: How do I open an account at FNB?
A: If you are already an FNB customer and signed up for online banking, simply login to your account to apply online for checking, savings, CD, or IRA accounts. Otherwise, visit us at any of our branch locations with your opening deposit, Social Security number and a current picture id.

Q: How can I change my address and personal information at FNB?
A: Just visit one of our branch locations and update your information with us so you don't lose any important correspondence from FNB. However, if you are signed up for online banking, you can change this information electronically through the "online forms" section of the online banking.

Q: What products can I apply for online?
A: We have a variety of accounts. Anyone can apply now for a credit card. Additionally, once you have signed up for Online Banking, you can apply for CD/IRAs, Checking or Savings, and ATM or Debit cards after you have logged into your online account.

Q: Do you offer CDs or IRAs online?
A: Yes we do offer CD online applications through online banking. However, we do not offer IRA applications online at this time. To see what we currently offer, visit our CD and IRA Accounts page. If you have signed up for online banking, you can then apply for additional CD accounts after you have logged in.

Q: Can I receive interest on my checking account?
A: Yes! If you want a checking account that pays a market rate of interest, check out our Interest Checking account.

Q: Can I open an account if I don't live in the United States? Or what if I live in the United States but am not a citizen yet?
A: At this time, we only accept applications from persons residing within the United States with valid U.S. tax identification numbers (Social Security Numbers). If you have questions, contact us. We'd like to hear from you.

Q: Are wire transfers possible to and from my checking account?
A: Yes! Funds can be transferred to and from accounts by wire transfer or via ACH (Automated Clearing House) debits or credits. Contact us for details.

Q: Can I look at all of my account transactions at any time?
A: Yes! If you register for Online Banking, you can have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Or if you do not have internet access, our First Contact is accessable anytime, anywhere.
